Shibari

The art of Japanese rope bondage is as exquisite as it is complex. It involves intricate and intentional tying of the body, using jute or hemp ropes.

Besides it being often appreciated for it’s aesthetic beauty, it goes a much further to me than just pleasing the eye. When I practice shibari, it is about presence, intention and the delicate dance between vulnerability and trust. It invites both the person tying and the one being tied into a space of heightened awareness - of the body, the breath and each other. It is a practice of listening. Through touch, tension and silence.

My rope journey began six years ago when I attended my first shibari workshop and found myself being instantly hooked. Being wrapped into ropes felt like being held while floating through space and time, it made me land into my body unlike anything I had experienced before. And so, it began..

Tying became a passion of mine and I’ve spend years exploring different techniques and philosophies before deciding on a Japanese master I wanted to learn from. Since April 2025 I have the honour to call myself a certified shibari teacher by Hajime Kinoko, which means that I will tie and teach in his style moving forward.

Session

All my shibari sessions start with an approximately 15min check-in around consent, boundaries, physical limitations and potential intentions.

After this the session starts and I’ll take you into the versatile world of shibari guided by suitable music. These sessions can be as intense or soft as desired and suspension is optional but not necessary to have an impactful session.

Afterwards there is time for integration, potential questions and some relaxation before stepping into the real world again.

Lesson

If you wish to learn shibari from me, please bring a (play) partner to practice on. My teaching style follows the guidelines set by Hajime Kinoko and no previous experience is needed to book a lesson.

During all private classes I work with a 2 hour minimum which can be extended if desired so. Please mention your level and experience while sending your request.

In case you’re flying in from abroad or having difficulties finding a suitable rope model, let me know so I can possibly arrange someone for you at an additional fee.

Anything you might want to know..

What should I wear during a session or lesson?

You can wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable and sexy. During the session or lesson there is also enough time to change in case you’d want to.

Can I be naked?

You are entirely free to choose whether or not to be unclothed during our sessions. However, genital touch is not included.

Will you be naked?

I will remain clothed during our sessions. I prefer to wear exclusive lingerie, silk kimonos, or something else that complements the atmosphere of our time together. Don’t worry, I will always present myself in a way that enhances the experience.

What if I get aroused during a session?

All sensations and emotions that come up during our sessions —including arousal, excitement, or even tears— are very welcome. Allow yourself to experience them fully. For male clients, please know that visible arousal is completely natural and not something that will surprise me or you should feel ashamed about. However, genital touch is not included in my shibari sessions.

Can I bring someone to watch the session?

Yes you can bring one person to watch the session. However, please keep in mind that distractions can potentially keep you from reaching certain depths and therefore limit your experience.

Can I record the session or will you take a picture?

If discusses prior, I'd happily take a picture while you're tied up. In case you desire a video of the session, I will record it and send you some snippets. Please note that nothing will be published without clear consent prior.
