SHIBARI WORKSHOPS
The art of Japanse rope bondage is as exquisite as it is complex. Besides it being often appreciated for it’s aesthetic beauty, it goes much further to me than just pleasing the eye. It is about presence, intention and the delicate dance between vulnerability and trust. It invites both the person tying and the one being tied into a space of heightened awareness - of the body, the breath and each other. It is a practice of listening. Through touch, tension and silence.
Tying became a passion of mine and I’ve spend years exploring different techniques and philosophies before deciding on a Japanese master I wanted to learn from. Since April 2025 I have the honour to call myself a certified shibari teacher by Hajime Kinoko, which means that I will tie and teach in his style moving forward.
Please note that both workshops will be hosted on the same day. It is possible to join both or choose one.

SHIBARIBASICS
For complete beginners or those that want to refresh their technical knowledge.
• During this workshop you will learn basic technical shibari skills. Think of a single column tie, a chest harness and simple tips and tricks to help you get started.
• You can join this workshop alone or with a (play)partner. If you come alone you will be partnered up with someone else.

SENSUALSHIBARI
• For beginners and intermediate practitioners that want to learn how to awaken the senses to desire and pleasure by using rope in a sensual way.
• During this workshop we will dive deep into body language, how to use rope to build tension and how to handle the body.
• Please note that this is NOT a technical shibari workshop. If you don’t have any basic skills please join the ‘shibari basics’ workshop first.
• You can join this workshop alone or with a (play)partner. If you come alone you will be partnered up with someone else.
